Touch: drag back anywhere on the field to pull the slingshot (it follows your finger from where you touched), aim with the short dotted line and let go to fire. Tap while a Pinecone or Puffball is flying to burst it. Drag only a little and let go to cancel. · Keyboard: arrow keys aim (Up/Down angle, Left/Right power, Shift for fine steps), Space or Enter fires and also bursts Pinecones and Puffballs, R retries, P or Esc pauses, M mutes. The mouse drags the slingshot the same way as touch.
About:
A Leetdom original in the spirit of the 2000s Flash siege-flinging classics. A squirrel with a forked-twig slingshot takes on 24 weevil forts across three places: the autumn Hedgerow, the Rockery at dusk and a frosty Glasshouse at night. Every fort is real physics: planks tip, stacks topple, glass shatters, twigs snap and pebble blocks take a proper wallop, and a weevil only goes down if something hits it hard enough, whether that is your nut, a falling beam or the ground.
You get a handful of shots per fort, and fewer shots means more stars. New ammo arrives as you go: the heavy Conker for pebble walls, the Pinecone that bursts into three seeds when you tap, and the Puffball that goes off in a spore blast. The aiming line only shows the first stretch of the arc, so the rest is your judgement.
Everything is drawn and synthesised in code, including the small rigid-body physics engine. There are no image files, no audio files and no network requests. Your stars save in this browser.

Phone check: 2026-09-30: every one of the 24 forts measured at rest after 5 s with no input (all bodies asleep, under 3 mm of drift; with sleeping switched off, under 1 cm of creep). Played on a simulated landscape phone (844x390) with real CDP touch: a drag-back from off the pouch fired the acorn, level 1 cleared, the stars panel appeared and Retry restarted with one tap. Also portrait, desktop mouse and keyboard aiming, pause on a hidden tab, and blocked localStorage. A solver bot cleared all 24 levels. No console errors; no network requests beyond its own files. QA 30 Sep 2026 (independent pass): settle re-run, all 24 forts at rest; aimed bot re-run on 17-24 (all won); phone landscape + portrait with real touch, desktop, blocked storage, hidden-tab pause, no errors or external requests; worst-case collapse at 4x CPU throttle costs about 6 ms of script per frame.
