About:
A phone-first escape-the-room puzzle in the spirit of the 2000s Flash classics, made in-house for Leetdom. You are shut inside an astronomer's study: a door with a star-shaped recess instead of a keyhole, a desk under a framed star chart, a curtained window with a telescope, and a bookcase beside a brass orrery. Turn between the four walls, tap anything to look closer, and gather what you find in a six-slot tray.
Every lock is clued by something in the room. The curtains hide three star figures that the chart names; a drawer wants those names in order. The telescope shows four coloured stars, and four coloured books carry the numerals a safe asks for. A stopped pocket watch tells you how to open the wall clock, and a torn almanac page, once its halves are taped together, shows where each planet of the orrery must stand. The orrery itself has to be completed, wound and aligned before its sun will open.
A notebook copies down every clue you have read, including sketches of the sky, so nothing has to be memorised. If you get stuck, a three-step hint ladder nudges you towards the next useful step before it gives the answer, and your star rating reflects how many hints you took. Each new room shuffles every combination, progress is saved on your device so you can continue later, and your best time is kept. All art is drawn in code and all sound is synthesised; there are no external assets or network requests.

Phone check: 2026-10-03 builder playtest (pi-fleet job 00-build-91): a real CDP-touch phone run at 390x844 solved a full room from title to escape: cushion, crank and curtains, drawer by sky names, lens and telescope, safe by telescope order, almanac combine, coat and watch, clock, planet, winding, orrery alignment, sun and star key, door. One tap on New room started a fresh room with every combination reshuffled. The same loop passed on a 1280x800 desktop with mouse and keyboard. Separate runs passed Tab/Enter keyboard play, step-by-step hints, pause on a hidden tab with the timer frozen, play with localStorage throwing, a portrait prompt on a sideways phone, and Continue restoring a saved room. A node solver solved 3,000 seeds using only what the screen shows. Offline 30-second WebAudio render: peak -11.0 dBFS, all sounds stacked -7.5 dBFS, music 12.6 dB (gated RMS) under effects, high band 33.7 dB below the signal. No console or page errors and no non-local requests. Independent QA 3 Oct 2026 (pi-fleet job 10-qa-starlatch): full room solved by real CDP touch on a 390x844 phone (local and production builds) and by mouse on 1280x800 desktop, one-tap New room reshuffles every combination; keyboard Tab/Enter, arrows and hints, hidden-tab pause with frozen timer, localStorage throwing, sideways prompt and resume, Continue after reload; inside the leetdom page the Full screen button refits the game (desktop and phone) and touch still works. Zero console/page errors, zero non-local requests. Offline 30 s render of a recorded solve: music 16.0 dB (gated RMS) under effects, peak -6.9 dBFS, 18 stacked sounds -4.0 dBFS, true silence between sounds, >6 kHz band 39 dB down. QA fixes: taps on an item flying into the tray now select it, wrong items on close-up objects say they do not fit, close-ups describe themselves, the watch can be held up to the clock, a velvet seat cushion, and an unclipped shelf label.
