Space Wizard Toast Spinning

By fatfisz · 2019

Play:

Touch: Swipe near the toast to apply force to it — the longer/bigger the swipe, the more force. Confirmed working on a real touchscreen; the title screen needs an initial swipe or tap before its Start prompt appears. · Keyboard: Not required; entirely click/touch-driven.

About:

Built for js13k 2019: a space wizard hurls force at a spinning slice of toast from a distance, trying to land it butter-side up in the middle of a distant city skyline. Ranked 81st of 200 entries Overall, with independent player comments calling it both original and genuinely challenging.

The swipe-to-cast mechanic was confirmed working directly: a real drag gesture visibly rotated the falling toast and advanced its fall progress, reproduced identically with a mouse drag on desktop. One rough edge found in testing: the title screen's "Click to Start" prompt only appears after the first swipe or click, so a single quick tap alone may look like nothing happened.

Phone check: played on a simulated phone (390x844, real touch swipes) and on desktop (mouse drag) on 7 Sep 2026 — swipe-to-apply-force confirmed rotating and moving the toast on both; zero console errors, zero external network requests

No licence stated. fatfisz published this game without saying how it may be reused, so it is hosted here on the strength of credit alone: their name, a link to their own release, and nothing altered but what it took to run.
