About:
A momentum-and-ink line-drawing game, made in-house for Leetdom in the spirit of the 2000s Flash classics. The skier is always moving; you draw the mountain beneath her. Hold anywhere to lay snow just ahead of her skis, steer the height to bank speed or set up a ramp, then release to lift the pen and send her flying. Land smoothly to bank your air bonus and grow a multiplier; land hard and you wipe out.
Every stroke costs ink and the meter only refills while you are airborne, so a good run is a rhythm: carve, launch, glide, carve again. Nine hand-built trails teach the vocabulary one idea at a time: your first tracks, a single gap to leap, two jumps back to back, a low ice roof to tuck under, a stretch of glare ice you cannot draw on, a slalom of multiplier gates, rock spires pushing up through the snow, a long chasm to clear, and a summit run that asks for all of it in one flowing line. Each trail scores bronze, silver and gold, and a faint ideal-line ghost paces you so you can see where the clean line went. When you have the feel for it, Endless Descent builds a fresh, seeded mountain that never bottoms out and asks only how far your ink and nerve will carry you.
Every trail was proven solvable by a forward-simulating planner before it shipped, and that same timeline drives both the title-screen demo and the ghost. All of the art is drawn procedurally on a canvas and all of the sound is synthesised in code, with a limiter on the master bus and a mute button; there are no image or audio files and the game makes no network requests of any kind.
