Touch: Tap the on-screen d-pad to move and the dedicated Fire button to shoot - confirmed genuinely working via a real touch tap independently verified against the game's own internal bullet count going from 0 to 1 · Keyboard: Arrow keys to move, Space to fire, Enter to start, Esc to pause
About:
A side-scrolling shoot-em-up built by Andy Balaam on his Smolpxl engine, the deepest and most game-like of the Smolpxl showcase family (real enemy variety, a scrolling city/hangar backdrop, a live attract-mode replay on the title screen). Move with arrow keys or the on-screen d-pad, fire with Space or the on-screen Fire button, confirmed genuinely functional: a real held key and Space press moved the ship and scored a real 100-point kill on desktop; on phone, a real tap on the on-screen Fire button was confirmed via the game's own internal bullet-tracking state to have fired a genuine projectile. A third-party popularity-tracking beacon, explicitly enabled by this game's own code, was found and disabled before shipping.

Phone check: 2026-09-08: confirmed real keyboard controls on desktop (held arrow key moved the ship, Space press fired a shot that scored a real 100 points against an enemy) and real touch controls on phone (a real tap on the on-screen d-pad moved the ship, and a tap on the on-screen Fire button was confirmed via the game's own internal bullet-tracking array going from 0 to 1). This engine snapshot does not carry the sibling Smolpxl titles' cosmetic 'undefined' button-label bug. Found and disabled a third-party popularity-tracking beacon (POST to the author's own stats endpoint) that this game's own code had explicitly enabled; confirmed zero requests to that endpoint via a live network check after the fix. Removed unused developer test files bundled in an earlier verification-only install pass.
