Play:

Touch: drag anywhere to slide the falling pair left and right; tap to rotate it; swipe down to plant it instantly (a hard drop). A ghost shows where it will land. Pause, music and mute buttons sit in the top-right. · Keyboard: Left/Right arrows move, Up or X rotates clockwise, Z rotates anti-clockwise, Down soft-drops, Space plants instantly. P pauses, M mutes, Enter or Space starts and retries. Mouse works like touch: drag to move, click to rotate.

About:

A falling-pair chain puzzler in the spirit of the 2000s match-and-cascade classics, made in-house for Leetdom. Seeds fall two at a time into a six-wide garden. Each seed is one of four elements, drawn in its own colour and marked with its own glyph (a ring, a four-point star, a leaf and a dot) so the colours are never the only thing telling them apart. You slide the pair sideways and spin it, and when four or more of the same element touch they bloom and vanish. Everything above drops into the gap, and if that landing forms another group it blooms too, and the chain keeps going on its own. The longer the chain, the more it scores and, in a duel, the more pressure it ships across the garden wall.

There are two ways to play. Duel pits you against an opponent on three tiers: Sprout is gentle and places almost at random, Thicket plays a steady positional game, and Bramble actively stacks for multi-step chains. Both gardens are fed the same sequence of seeds from one seed, so a duel is fair and completely reproducible, and the winner is the one who keeps their garden from overgrowing the longest. Every bloom you set off sends transparent thornpods that rain grey, inert seeds into the other garden; clearing a group next to a thornpod removes it. Endless is a solo run with no opponent, where the drop speed keeps rising and the only goal is the highest score before the garden tops out. Your best score for each mode is saved on your device.

The mechanic is an old one, but every seed, name, sound and line of code here is original to Leetdom. All of the art is drawn with canvas, all of the sound is synthesised with the Web Audio API, and there are no image or audio files and no network requests of any kind.

Phone check: 2026-10-03: built and independently QA-passed in an isolated staging workspace, then published. Real Chromium (playwright-core, isMobile+hasTouch) on a 390x844 phone: tapping a mode starts play, 14 pieces driven by keyboard move/rotate/hard-drop, score advances, the pause chip pauses, the tab pauses when hidden, a topped-out garden reaches game over, and one tap retries into a fresh game, all with zero console errors and no network requests. Also checked an 844x390 landscape duel (Bramble AI alive and placing pieces), a 1280x720 desktop duel (Thicket AI taking turns), and a run with window.localStorage forced to throw (no crash; the save path is exercised on game over). Deterministic node tests: engine 31/31 (piece geometry and rotation kicks, gravity, group-finding, and an invariant that resolve() only ever leaves valid settled cells) and AI/versus 11/11 (same seed replays a match bit-for-bit; Thicket-vs-Thicket lasts 50-80 turns; Bramble beats Sprout 78%; Bramble self-play builds a 2+ chain in 33/40 games and a 3+ chain in 3/40, best chain 4; about 20.5 thornpods sent per Bramble/Thicket game). Offline Web Audio render (full mix, SFX-only, music-only, plus a silent idle render): mix peak -4.8 dBFS so the limiter holds even under a stacked chain, music sits 12.4 dB under SFX by RMS, the idle noise floor is silent, and no harsh high-frequency dominance. Production check 3 Oct on www.leetdom.com/games/gladefall (390x844 phone profile, real CDP touch, no debug flag): page 200, tapping Endless starts play, a drag slides the pair to column 0, a tap rotates it and a swipe down plants it, the pause chip toggles, the Full screen button refits the game from 332x590 to 390x844 and touch still plants pairs, a topped-out garden reaches OVERGROWN and one tap retries; zero console errors and no requests outside leetdom.com.

Constellation Pop Clear constellations from a drifting sky-chart. Tap a cluster of two or more matching stars and the whole constellation fades out; the stars above fall in, empty columns slide shut, and if you plan it right one tap can cascade the chart clean.
Glass Drop Slide and turn falling shards of stained glass to finish whole rows, and fire them into the rose window above.
Beetle Parade A line of beetles is marching down a garden trail toward the burrow. Flick beetles into the line from your snail; three of a colour scuttle off, and the gaps snap shut into chain reactions.
Bug Traffic Bees, bumblebees, dragonflies and ladybirds drift into the garden. Draw each one a path home to the flowers of its colour, and never let two of them bump.
