About:
A maze-chase arcade game in the spirit of the 2000s Flash classics, made in-house for Leetdom. Tuffet the hamster has the run of the house at night, and every room is scattered with sunflower seeds. Eat them all to clear the room, while four house cats roam the tunnels.
Each cat has its own personality, and learning them is the game. Smudge the grey tabby stalks you and always heads straight for your square. Patch the calico cuts you off by aiming four squares ahead of where you're running. Domino the tuxedo works as a pincer with Smudge, flanking you from the far side. Biscuit the fluffy cream cat chases from a distance but loses its nerve and backs off when it gets close. Every so often they give up the hunt and wander off to their own corners, and a little '!' or '~' above each cat (and a short message) shows when their mood changes.
Eat one of the four chillis and Tuffet glows red-hot: the cats puff up in fright and scatter, and you can bonk them back to their basket for 200, 400, 800 and 1600 points. Side tunnels wrap round to the other wall, and the cats slow down inside them. A bonus snack (carrot, pea pod, strawberry, cheese, broccoli, blueberries, corn, walnut) turns up twice a room. There are seven rooms with their own layouts: the Shoebox, the Bookshelf, the Pantry, the Sock Drawer, the Greenhouse, the Attic and the Toybox. The cats get quicker and the chilli wears off sooner the further you get. You earn an extra life at 10,000 points.
Swipe to steer. A swipe waits for the next opening, so you can swipe early and the hamster turns as soon as it can, and it follows bends in the tunnel on its own. Everything in it, the art and the sound included, is drawn and synthesised in code, with no image or audio files at all.

Phone check: 2026-09-30: built and tested by the remake-25 build agent. Real CDP touch on a 390x844 phone: tap to start, swipes in all four directions steer the hamster (state read from the page), d-pad taps steer, tab-hidden pauses, resume, game over and one-tap restart; also an 844x390 landscape viewport and a 1280x800 desktop with mouse and keyboard, and a run with localStorage throwing. Zero console errors and no network requests. A node verifier (verify.js) checks all seven rooms (fully connected, no dead ends, no one-entrance pockets, every seed reachable), logs every cat's target and confirms each follows its own rule 100% of the time, and has a human-like bot (150-250 ms reaction, buffered swipes, 6% fumbled swipes) clear room 1 in about 90% of 30 runs. QA pass 2026-09-30 (qa-crumbwarren): legal grep clean; room 1 (Shoebox) redesigned and five rooms' side tunnels moved off the basket row to break the arcade-maze silhouette; room 2-5 speed ramp eased; mid-drag direction changes now need a longer, clearly one-axis stroke so a thumb curl cannot queue a stray turn; chilli and cat-mood popups plus a title hint for first-time players. Re-verified: all 7 rooms pass verify.js mazes, verify.js ai OK, human-like bot clears the new room 1 in 34/40 runs; phone, landscape, desktop, blocked storage, hidden-tab pause and leetdom full screen retested with zero console errors and no network requests.
