A Three.js empire game on a hexagonal world map — found, played and rated 8.4, the highest score on this shelf. What earns that is the touch handling: one-finger pan and tap, two-finger pinch-zoom and rotate, all running alongside mouse input rather than mapped onto it. Most 3D strategy games on the web are a desktop build with a phone-shaped hole in them; this one was built for both.
