Match3 (glicOne)

By A classic animal-face match-3 · 2016

Play:

Touch: Tap a tile then drag to an adjacent tile to swap them - confirmed genuinely working via a real multi-point touch drag independently verified by reading the game's own tile-grid data before and after, producing a real score increase · Keyboard: Mouse only - click a tile then drag to an adjacent tile to swap them

About:

A classic match-3 puzzle by Vadim Romaniuk (glicOne) built on Phaser: swap adjacent tiles among four animal faces (chick, hippo, frog, fox) to make matches of three or more, which cascade as the board refills. Confirmed genuinely functional on both platforms via a rigorous test: the game's own live tile-grid data was read directly, a real match-creating swap was computed, then played out as a genuine gradual drag (mouse on desktop, multi-point touch on phone), producing a real, substantial score increase each time. A real phone bug was found and fixed before shipping: the canvas was constructed at devicePixelRatio-multiplied resolution but never scaled back down in CSS, cutting off roughly two-thirds of the board on 2x-DPR phones; fixed by deriving the CSS size directly from the canvas's own resolution and devicePixelRatio.

Phone check: 2026-09-08: fixed a real phone bug where the canvas rendered at roughly 2x the visible viewport width on high-DPI phones (cutting off two-thirds of the 6-column board), by deriving the canvas CSS size directly from its own internal resolution divided by devicePixelRatio. Confirmed real swap-and-match gameplay on both platforms via a rigorous test: the game's own live tile-grid data was read directly, a real match-creating swap computed, then played out as a genuine gradual drag (mouse on desktop, multi-point CDP touch on phone), producing a real score increase each time (e.g. 160 to 340 on phone). Removed unused repository metadata files (a 1.5MB screenshot, README, CONTRIBUTING) and added a missing viewport meta tag. No third-party analytics found.
