About:
A dice race board game in the spirit of the 2000s Flash classics, made in-house for Leetdom. The old lock city has flooded again, and four paper fleets race the tide around its ring of canals. Each turn you roll a single die. A boat still tied up at the dock can only set out on a six, and every six earns you another roll. Sail your four boats clockwise around the 56-cell ring, then peel off up your own colour's channel to the central basin. First fleet to bring its boats home wins.
When your boat lands on a cell holding a lone rival, your bow throws a wake that swamps them: their boat is carried all the way back to its dock and must roll a six to set out again. Bridges and the four dock-mouths are safe water, drawn with a pale deck, where boats cannot be swamped and may share a cell. A boat needs an exact roll to settle into the basin, so the last few steps are a game of patience. Land the whole fleet first and the city's bells ring you in.
Everything is drawn and sounded in code, with no image or audio files. Set up a match for one to four human seats, fill the rest with crews at three skill levels (Deckhand, Skipper or Harbourmaster), and choose first-to-one through first-to-four boats home to make a match as short or as long as you like. Move previews light the legal boats and show where each would land and whom it would swamp, so a new player can read the whole turn before committing. Your colour choice, difficulty, win record and streak are saved on your device.

Phone check: 2026-10-05: serialized headless Chromium QA (playwright-core driving chromium-browser, one locked run under the 120s budget) across four profiles. Phone portrait 390x844 with real Pointer Events: title boots, a match starts, a six sets a boat out, taps sail the lit boat, a full match plays to a win overlay, and the single Play-again tap restarts cleanly. Phone landscape 812x390 plus a live resize to 390x812: the board re-lays out to the new aspect correctly. Desktop 1280x800 keyboard+mouse: click-to-start, Space rolls (confirmed via a monotonic roll counter), Escape pauses and resumes, M mutes, hiding the tab auto-pauses and restoring resumes, and the keyboard alone drives a match to its result. Blocked localStorage (storage throws): the game still boots and plays. No console errors, no page errors and no foreign network requests in any profile. Render cost measured synchronously at ~8 ms/frame (comfortably 60fps-capable; headless vsync throttling makes raw rAF cadence meaningless, so it is reported for info only). Audio measured with OfflineAudioContext: peak -5.07 dBFS, music 13.26 dB under SFX, noise floor clean (below -70 dBFS in the gaps), no harsh content above ~6 kHz (hiRatio 0.011). Engine: node sim.js passes all board invariants (56-cell ring, four 63-cell paths, 8 safe cells), confirms deterministic replay (seed 777 reproduces winner and turn count) and reports fair seat win rates near 25% each across 16002 games; node sim.js human shows a meaningful skill ladder (a Deckhand wins ~1.5% against three Harbourmasters, a lower bound for a careful human).
